Privacy Statement

Overview

Your privacy is a very serious topic that we take pride in handling. We want you to know that we will always respect your privacy as if it were our own. In this Privacy Policy, we will describe your rights regarding QuickClub’s collection and use of you data, personal information, storage, and sharing. This policy applies to all uses of the QuickClub desktop and mobile applications, and all related websites, services, and tools. This Privacy Policy is valid wherever it is referenced in the previously mentioned locations and applications. By your use of our mobile application, websites, and services, you consent to the ways that we process your personal information and the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Collection and use of personal and other information

The term “personal information” will be used throughout this document to describe information associated to a specific user of QuickClub to identify that person. Personal information does not include information that has been given to us anonymously. Our team management services can only be provided to you after you share some basic personal information with us. The absolute minimum information required from an individual user includes: first and last name, a valid email address, and a password.

Examples of optional information that you and/or your team may provide include:

  1. Phone number
  2. Profile Photo
  3. Team specific information (e.g., team name, roster information, position, number, etc.)
  4. Schedule information (e.g., RSVP status, etc.)
  5. Event information (e.g., event name, time, location, etc.)
  6. Device and software information (e.g., operating system, type of device, software information, etc.)

For parents and guardians of players under the age of 13 years whose club is using QuickClub, it is your choice whether or not to share their information.

Club Managers and members may also have the need to make payments using QuickClub. If you choose to do so, we use third party payment card processing companies to process the payments associated with our websites and web services. These parties keep your credit card and payment information, and do not share it with QuickClub. QuickClub does not retain your payment information in any way or form.

As a club manager, you have the option to create a fundraiser for your club or create payment requests to collect funds from other members of your club. With these payment types we may ask for a valid checking account number and routing number.

When a fundraiser is created, non-QuickClub members have the ability to donate funds to the QuickClub fundraiser website. When doing so, we may ask those donors for sensitive information such as credit card information. This information is not stored in any way or form by QuickClub, but rather handled by the third party credit card processor.

How we share your information

Your personal information will not be sold, rented, or leased to anyone by QuickClub. Your information is used and shared solely in the following ways:

Advertising

In order to ensure that our advertising and marketing is working effectively, we use third-parties to measure efficiency. The ads you see can sometimes be targeted directly toward you based on personal information collected on our website and other third-party websites on the internet.

We may access non-personal information from third-parties to improve the service that QuickClub offers. Specifically your location determined from the IP address that your devices are accessing the internet from.

We use Google Analytics services to keep track of analytical data. This information is useful in the improvement of QuickClub’s services. Google’s privacy policy can be accessed here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.

Children’s privacy

QuickClub does not collect information about children under the age of 13. As written in the QuickClub Terms of Service, no user under the age of 13 is permitted to use QuickClub. When teams include members under the age of 13, it is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to manage their child’s information, and authorizing others in the clubs to do so.

Security and retention

Your personal information security is one of our top priorities. Based off the precautions we took in the development of the QuickClub application, we are confident that all of your information is safe and secure.

QuickClub uses Secure Sockets Layer or SSL to secure and encrypt the data that you enter into the application. SSL is the standard technology for secure internet encryption. It does this by checking your IP address and verifying that the server you are connected to is actually the correct server that it claims to be. This not only encrypts information about that you have entered into QuickClub, but it also encrypts messages that you send between members of your clubs. Payment information such as checking account information, credit cards and debit cards are also encrypted using this technology to ensure that your money is always stored by our third-party processors in the safest manner possible.

It is important to note that no method of electronic data transmission is 100% secure. That being said, there is no guarantee that we can secure your data transmission with absolute certainty.

Your information stays stored in our databases as long as it is relevant to the products and services we provide and/or until they are deleted by you or a manager of your club. We may retain information provided to QuickClub for the purposes of assisting in law enforcement, keeping payment transaction records, resolving disputes, troubleshooting user issues and concerns, assisting in investigations, and to enforce the terms defined in the QuickClub Terms of Service.
